Boob brushes?
What’s your secret talent? Or ODD talent as nowadays that seems to be the only way to stand out to claim your 15 minutes of fame. I’ve only had the opportunity to catch a few amazing talents in the NBC Minute to Win It show and was thoroughly entertained.
But wait till you see what this one lady can do … with her breasts. It probably won’t ever make the cut on a prime-time TV show, but it sure is different. Would you call it talent? Is it something you could stare at and appreciate? You be the judge…
Artist uses boobs vs paintbrushes
news:lite
A U.S. artist says she produces her artwork using an unusual method – covering her 38DD boobs in paint and pressing them against the canvas.
Kira Ayn Varszegi says she first started breast painting almost 10 years ago and that her works can sell for £600 each.
The 24-year-old from Connecticut creates each painting by coating her breasts with various colored paints and then pressing and dragging them on the canvas.
She admits she was initially surprised by the level of commercial interest in the abstract breast works, and that she’s now created and sold hundreds of paintings.
However, not all of her fans are only interested in the final result… she admits she’s constantly being besieged with requests for photos of the “creative process.”

Still can’t visually picture how she does it? There’s a video on YouTube that I can’t link to because you need to be 18 and over to view it and must sign in first. But click on the byline link above and watch the video on that site.
So do you think you have a bigger talent that can reach a wider audience than just the art community? What’s the most ODD skill or talent you have seen by someone else?
Quick survey:
- In the audience or on stage when it comes to talent shows?
- Favorite one-hit wonder?
- ODD talent you’d like to master?

Just a reminder that there’s a blog party on Tuesday the 10th at the new Side Street Inn On Da Strip in Kapahulu. There is $5 valet parking or $5 self parking.

I’m sorry, but as much as people rave about Jackson Pollock, I don’t get his art, and I don’t get the appeal of her art either. It’s no different than the chimp that throws buckets of paint on the canvas.
As for your survey, I’d probably be on stage if it was and ensemble (like HS band), in the audience otherwise.
Favorite one hit wonder? Too hard to call. Madness, maybe. Or Dee-Lite.
Odd talent I’d like to master? I really don’t have one.

if i remember from my college classes, 38DD is real big. so this woman would be the Titian of breast painting-no pun intended, honest- i was thinking of the overwhelming size and grandeur of the painter’s canvases ahem.
if you were to take up this, doubtless, moneymaking endeavor, which painter would you most resemble? and i swear- i am not thinking of Dutch artist, Carole Peirson

Got a few minutes before dinner duty. I, too, fail to see the “talent” in this style of painting. ODDity, yes. Talent, no. That said, my paintings could probably fit on a 8×10. And that’s ’nuff said about that. LOL
By M, August 5, 2010 @ 6:04 pm

In audience or on stage? Both. Altho’ it’s a fantasy of mine to perform as a background character in something. When I see those “mini” shows at Disneyland I always think how cool it would be to be a dancing tree or something.
I kind of had my wish fulfilled when I did a performance with HI 72 at one of our Ilikai events (precursor to Nightclub Reunions) when 24 of us did a performance to “Shake Your Groove Thing”.

This was in front of about 1000 people. The crowd loved it! No, I so don’t have stage fright. LOL
By sally, August 5, 2010 @ 6:16 pm
I can’t think of any “ODD” talent but there are some things I’d like to master. Like salsa dancing or what I call “partner” dancing.

* In the audience or on stage when it comes to talent shows?
- in the audience, never on stage. If it’s comedy night, then in the back of the audience, not in the first row.
* Favorite one-hit wonder?
- I don’t know. I have to think of this one.
* ODD talent you’d like to master?
- Jazz hands and spirit fingers.

@ankles: for BOTH?
By matt, August 5, 2010 @ 6:54 pm
good evening, Hive.
geez, with those chamongas she should be a house painter instead of an artist. plenty coverage.
* In the audience or on stage when it comes to talent shows?
probably neither…i have no talent for those shows (unless someone wants to watch me sit on the couch and watch tv while eating ice cream) and i’ve found that most people who enter are similarly talented. the handful that are actually talented will probably hit it big, so i’ll watch them when they get famous.
* Favorite one-hit wonder?
